The National Steering Group on Financial Education was established by the Financial Regulator in late 2006 and brings together a range of stakeholders with an interest in personal finance and/or education, including Government departments, industry representative bodies, educational and training institutions, non-profit organisations and the public sector.
The purpose of the Steering Group was to encourage the development of personal finance education in the Republic of Ireland
