The National Consumer Agency (NCA) is active in the area of financial capability both in the domestic arena and at international level. In Ireland, the Financial Regulator has published the Financial Capability Study and internationally, engages with the European Union and OECD on financial education issues, responsibilities the NCA has assumed as of March 2010. A senior executive in the NCA is a member of the EU Expert Group on Financial Education (in a personal capacity).
